We invite you to a private and personalized experience in the heart of the island of Hvar:
“From the garden to the table” with more experiences in one day: gastronomy and culinary, olive oil tasting, local customs, art!
We will host you in our home near Jelsa, between olive trees and Mediterranean herbs. Walking among olive trees and organic garden you will learn about the benefits of Mediterranean food and about use of healing herbs and spices. For the welcome you will try homemade aperitifs, enriched with plants from the garden: juices and brandies aromatized with roses,mixed herbs, myrtle, wormwood, etc. Then follows Olive oil tasting and degustation.
You will have your personal chef. He will help you to pick up plants and herbs for your “Cooking Class” in the garden, and you will also see our free-breeding chickens.
You will dress up your aprons and help your chef to prepare traditional food: the various local delicacies fot appetizer , the main dish “Hvarska gregada” ( cooked fish with potatoes), salads from the garden and a homemade dessert . Your chef will teach you everything about cooking and share his recipes with you.
With the meals we will also serve the selected Hvar wine, and introduce you to the tradition of vineyards and winemaking of the island of Hvar.
